Inspired by family photographs from days out at Bridlington Beach. Bright sunshine, cold wind. Ice cream on the prom. The promenade photographer. Donkey rides. The bus ride there and back. Freezing. The annual works weeks holidays. Every child knew the Canadian folk song. Everyone wore overcoats.
